About the Campbellford Farmers' Market
We are very proud to be a local producers’ market. We are governed by an elected group of vendor volunteers who ensure, through the rigorous enforcement of our vendor by-laws, that all of our vendors are selling items that they have produced themselves. Our vendor catchment area is a circle with an approximate 35 km radius around Campbellford. When we say local, we really mean it! We are located at the corner of River and Front Streets in lively downtown Campbellford. Whether you’re crossing Campbellford’s landmark bridge by car or bike, adventuring on the Trent River system by cabin cruiser or kayak, or strolling through downtown on foot, we’d love you to visit! Look for the historic Clock Tower Cultural Centre and you’ll find us just steps away. Our market days are Wednesdays and Saturdays, 8 am until noon, from the beginning of May until the end of October. Rain or shine you’ll find local meats, honey and maple syrup, baked goods and preserves for sale. But every market day is a little different. Our produce and flower vendors bring the best that each season has to offer. Whether their tables are piled high with lettuce and tulips, tomatoes and corn, or pumpkins and parsnips, you can be sure it’s a great place to celebrate the seasons! And our rotating group of artisan vendors (different each week) have handcrafted goods for sale that are unique to this area alone. Jewelry, woodworking, hand painted signs, soap, fabric crafts, and more – all make lovely gifts for you or your loved ones.
