About the Allan Gardens Saturday Farmers' Market

The Allan Gardens Saturday Farmers’ Market facilitates a direct exchange between local farmers, food producers, artisan makers, and consumers. The Community Farmers’ Market is operated by the Friends of Allan Gardens (FOAG), a non-profit organization, and funded in major part by the City of Toronto’s Main Street Innovation Fund, with the day-to-day planning and administration handled by the FOAG Events Coordinator (EC). The intent is to provide a winter/off season farmers' market, hosted in the Children's Conservatory (and weather permitting on the adjacent grounds), complemented by programming that advances community engagement. Everything (50%+1) sold at the AG Community Farmers' Market must be grown, sourced, made and/or prepared in Toronto and the local area.
