“We’re about the smallest dairy processing plant in Canada, we use heritage practices to produce the best quality goat milk, artisan yogurt, kefir, and about 25 different cheeses." says farm founder Katie Normet. With a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Guelph, she continued her education by attending an artisan cheese school in Vermont. She is constantly upgrading her knowledge. Katie believes “animals that are fed well and treated well produce well” Purchasers of their products are welcome to visit the goats anytime. People from all over the world vouch for the sweet taste of River's Edge farmfresh goat milk. River's Edge Goat Dairy had educated people from many countries including France, Germany, Australia and New Zealand. Along with rave reviews, the farm also earned the 2008 Grand River Watershed Award for environmental practices! River's Edge Goat Dairy has retired over 20 acres of their land and has planted almost 20 000 trees. 2019 marks the 20th anniversary of Katie's purchase of the farm! 1000 trees have been planted every year for 20 years!
