Passionate about potatoes, John Wood says, “I totally enjoy growing them, preserving old varieties, introducing new ones, then selling directly to consumers.” A University of Guelph Crop Science grad, John represents the 3rd generation of the Wood family farming the 400-acre Pinehaven spread. John & his mom, Marg, plant & harvest a 25-acre market garden which produces 40 varieties of potatoes along with an array of other vegetables.
