We are part of a membership Startup Farm program offered at the McVean Farm which manages and advocates urban organic agriculture. This will be our first year of farming and marketing locally. Our family has for centuries farmed organically in Central America from livestock, fruits, vegetables, grains to various cultural exotics. We are enthusiastic in offering a wide variety of quality produce while following organic principles and regulations. We will be incorporating Central American agricultural techniques and varieties with Canadian techniques and varieties. It is a joint effort between family members that have diverse backgrounds in agricultural production and education of safe handling and marketing of fresh quality produce.
