About Moonlight Crofters

MEMBER SINCE 2015

We farm 275 acres in the beautiful & rugged Upper Ottawa Valley, near Eganville. After years of consulting Kathleen (M.Sc. Nutrition, McGill 1997) and Marshall (M.Sc. Forestry & Environmental Studies, U of T, 1994), we could see that convenience was replacing nutrition and industrial farms supplied low cost food but at great cost to nature. In 2000 we started with 50 acres and combined our skills to grow produce and raise livestock in a caring and ecologically sustainable manner. In 2014 we opened our commercial kitchen to make gourmet foods using the organic (uncertified) meat and produce we grow.
