Esther Fredericksen, daughter of John Lytle of Lytle’s Organic Vegetables, is a brand new MyPick® Verified Local Farmer®.
Started by organic farmer John Lytle in 1970, Lytle’s Organic Vegetables is now a third-generation family business run by John, Esther, her husband Zachary Frederickson and their two daughters. The farm–located in Arnprior, Ontario, just east of the city of Ottawa–offers a wide variety of non-certified organic fruits and vegetables. It also sells root vegetables throughout the winter months so customers can access local vegetables all year long.
Why did Lytle’s join the MyPick® Verified Local Farmer® program?
