Gerald & Sharon Kodde
"It’s exciting to sell what we produce directly to consumers. I love telling people about farm life and closing the gap between city and country," says Sharon Kodde. Sharon and her husband Gerald's belief in sustainability makes market participation a natural choice. As second-generation farmers raising a third, Gerald manages the 300-acre family farm while Sharon manages the market and four children. At BaconAcre Farm the animals are raised with care from conception to market where excellent nutrition comes straight from the field. Gerald's efforts produce exceptional pork and Sharon has the recipe to complement each cut!
ProductsMany cuts of pork: boneless ham roasts, delicately seasoned sausage, smoked & cured pork chops to name a few. Sweet corn and field tomatoes in season.

| Production Practices | We produce conventionally and conscientiously. Excellent animal husbandry is a very important aspect of their production. Most of our field corn is grown for our animals, in turn, the animals provide essential nutrients for growing the corn. It's an ecological balance. We also actively participate in an Environmental Farm plan. |
